About

I work with couples who want to strengthen their connection, improve communication, and navigate life’s transitions with clarity and intention. My approach is grounded in the Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), providing evidence-based strategies to help partners slow down, recognize patterns, and respond rather than react.

Couples often come to therapy feeling stuck in repeated conflicts, disconnected, or unsure about the future of their relationship. I help partners build rituals of connection, strengthen friendship, and create safety so that even difficult conversations can lead to understanding and meaningful change. This work helps couples move from gridlock and defensiveness toward mutual respect, trust, and repair.

I also guide couples through challenging life stages—dating, moving in, marriage, parenthood, and separation or divorce—supporting clear, intentional decision-making and helping partners navigate transitions with respect and care. When couples are unsure about staying together, therapy is a space to gain clarity, deepen understanding, and explore options without pressure.

Clients often tell me I’m a careful listener and that they feel truly understood. I combine professional experience with lived understanding of relationships, growth, and life transitions to help couples break unhelpful cycles, develop healthier communication and conflict skills, and strengthen emotional connection.

I’ve worked in the mental health field for over 20 years and have had the privilege of supporting couples across diverse backgrounds, ages, and experiences. My work is collaborative, intentional, and tailored to each couple’s unique needs, with a focus on creating meaningful change and strengthening lasting connection.
