About
Many couples come to therapy feeling exhausted by the same arguments, confused about how they keep missing each other, and worried that the distance between them is growing. Beneath the conflict is often something much more vulnerable - a longing to feel understood, valued, and securely connected.
As a Gottman-trained therapist, I help couples understand the research-backed patterns that strengthen or erode relationships. Together, we focus on improving communication, managing conflict more effectively, rebuilding trust, and increasing emotional and physical intimacy. You’ll learn practical tools to “fight right,” reduce reactivity, and move toward more productive, respectful conversations.
I also integrate Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), which helps couples slow down and explore the emotions beneath their reactions. When we understand what’s happening underneath anger, withdrawal, or defensiveness, meaningful change becomes possible. Conflict becomes less about winning and more about understanding.
What I love about this work is the relief and hope couples begin to feel. They realize conflict is not a sign of failure; it’s often an invitation to deeper connection when approached with openness and curiosity. My role is to help you recognize your impact on one another, strengthen your bond, and become active agents of change in your relationship.
Sessions are collaborative and structured when helpful, always grounded in compassion. My goal is to create a space where both partners feel heard and supported as we work toward a more secure, connected relationship. My aim is not just to reduce conflict, but to help you build a relationship that feels secure, resilient, and deeply connected.
