I work with couples who are tired of having the same argument, who feel more like roommates than partners, or who are rebuilding after a breach of trust — and with engaged couples who would rather prepare for marriage on purpose than by default.

I've spent more than twenty-five years sitting with people at crossroads — first as a teacher and school counselor, and since 2013 in private practice — and thresholds are the heart of my work: the couple deciding whether to stay, the professional whose career and marriage are wobbling at the same time, the person grieving a chapter that ended without permission. Insight matters, and so does knowing what to do with it on a Tuesday — you'll get both.

For engaged and seriously dating couples, I offer Vows & Values™, a private four-session premarital program built on the Prepare/Enrich assessment. I'm a Twogether in Texas provider, so Texas couples who complete it receive the state certificate.

I also see adults individually — professionals carrying anxiety under a competent surface, career stress, grief, and the transitions where who you are and what you do stop matching. That work draws on CBT, ACT, schema therapy, and attachment-based approaches, matched to you rather than the other way around.

I see clients in person in Arlington, Texas and by secure telehealth for clients located in Texas or Florida, with evening availability.
