About
Whether you're fighting all the time, going through a betrayal, or you've simply grown distant from your partner, couples therapy can help.
Couples sometimes experience relief within just a few sessions after learning simple ways to tweak their communication. For thriving couples, therapy is a way of gifting your relationship with skills to deepen your connection or tackle a specific transition you may be struggling with.
When working with couples I rely heavy on the science based interventions of Gottman Method Couples Therapy. We will use this method to repair broken trust or strengthen an already solid relationship. We'll learn effective ways of communicating and managing conflict. We'll also learn how to become good listeners and to support one another. Science has revealed to us that mental health is just as important to a person's well being as their physical health. Going to a therapist is like hiring a personal trainer. We'll collaborate as a team to identify the areas of the relationship that need strengthening and develop goals specific to your needs.
