Respectful teamwork. The solutions to your struggles will ultimately come from you. I can help you unblock your solutions. My approach is nonjudgmental, but active.
Clearheaded therapy. I create a written treatment plan for you to review. No more guessing what your therapist is up to.
Sanity. I limit the number of clients I see so I can offer you my full attention. I won't burn out on you.
A positive focus. I'll build on your strengths. My eye is on the future and what you CAN do, not the past.

I don't believe therapy is about fixing broken people, so I won't try to fix you. Besides using exercises from the Gottman perspective, I will offer new perspectives, useful homework, and skills in mastering anxiety to help you move out of being stuck and into possibility and growth. Whatever approach I take, I will always focus on what is working for you.
