With 25 years of clinical experience, I help couples navigate some of the most difficult relationship challenges, including recurring conflict and miscommunication, emotional distance that has grown over time, the exhaustion of feeling that your relationship always comes last, and the complex process of rebuilding trust after betrayal. Relationship distress can affect every part of life, and it may be difficult to feel hopeful when you are in the middle of it.

In addition to my Gottman training, I am trained in Dr. Alan Fruzzetti’s DBT for Couples model, a research-based approach developed at Harvard Medical School that addresses emotion dysregulation as it unfolds between partners. For couples whose patterns involve heightened emotional reactivity or intensity, this approach brings an added level of focus and precision to our work.

For couples seeking a way to make progress more quickly, I also offer private, in-home therapy intensives in Utah. These immersive, multi-day experiences bring the work directly to you in the privacy and comfort of your own space. They can be especially helpful for couples who cannot commit to weekly sessions or who value greater privacy and discretion.
