With 25 years of clinical experience, I work with couples facing some of the hardest relationship challenges: repeated miscommunication and conflict, emotional distance that's grown over years, the particular exhaustion of feeling like your relationship is always coming last, and the long road of rebuilding after betrayal. Relationship distress ripples through every part of life — and it can be hard to feel hopeful when you're in the middle of it.

In addition to my Gottman training, I'm trained in Dr. Alan Fruzzetti's DBT for Couples model — a research-based approach developed at Harvard Medical School that addresses emotion dysregulation specifically as it plays out between partners. For couples where emotional reactivity or intensity is part of the pattern, this adds a layer of precision that meaningfully shapes the work.

For couples who need meaningful progress quickly — or who value the privacy and discretion of a more concentrated format — I also offer private in-home therapy intensives in Utah. These multi-day immersive experiences bring the work directly to you, wherever you're most comfortable, and are particularly well-suited to couples who can't commit to weekly sessions.
