About

Dr. Lampson uses a highly relational approach to effectively combine gentle confrontation that facilitates growth with a high level of empathy and caring that creates a safe place for working through challenging issues or feelings. She has been practicing as a licensed psychologist for over 20 years. Her love for her work and her great confidence in the power of therapy to help people improve their relationships and enhance their quality of life is evident in her work with couples.

Dr. Lampson treats people with marital or relationship problems, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, or a history of trauma. She employs individual, family, and/or couples therapy, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) Therapy, CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), or GMCT (Gottman Methods Couples Therapy) depending upon the needs of the people seeking help. She bases her approach to treatment on Christian principles, which means that she treats all patients with respect, caring and compassion, however works with people of all faiths or no faith, only discussing issues of faith with those who wish to include their faith journeys as part of the therapy process.

Dr. Lampson's lifelong passion for helping people through psychotherapy has led her to build a lasting, successful private practice and to become a professor of graduate psychology at Northwest University, teaching the next generation of students of psychology how to become compassionate, life-changing psychologists.

Dr. Lampson is the clinical director of NUhope Community Counseling Center in Kirkland, WA where she supervises therapists who have taken Levels 1 & 2 who provide Gottman Method Couples Therapy at a reduced cost starting at $30 per session.
