About
I work with couples who care about each other but keep getting caught in the same painful patterns. One partner may feel alone in managing daily life. The other may feel constantly criticized or misunderstood. Sometimes both are trying hard, but differences in attention, communication, sensory needs, or emotional processing make it difficult to find a way through together.
My work focuses on the intersection of neurodivergence and relationships, including couples navigating ADHD, autism, AuDHD, or different neurotypes. I use the Gottman Method alongside attachment-based approaches to help partners understand what happens between them, repair after conflict, and develop practical ways of sharing responsibilities and staying connected. We make room for each person’s experience without losing sight of their impact on each other.
I offer couples therapy in person in Asheville and online across North Carolina. LGBTQIA+ couples and people in open or nontraditional relationships are welcome. Couples therapy is private pay. I’m currently accepting waitlist inquiries through my website.
My work is especially attuned to neurodivergent relationships, including ADHD- and autism-informed dynamics, and to couples facing the pressures of parenting—together or apart. I focus on building emotional safety, improving co-regulation, and healing the relational wounds that keep you stuck in conflict or distance.
Therapy with me is warm, direct, and deeply collaborative. I’ll help you untangle what’s not working, make sense of each other’s inner worlds, and build tools for sustainable connection.
