I provide relational therapy.

What does that mean? I help my clients shift the patterns that no longer work for them. We identify the path forward they want to take, and together, we work toward that future.

I completed my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy at Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington. Then I obtained Levels 1 & 2 certification in the Gottman Method for Couples from the renowned Gottman Institute in Seattle, as well as The Gottman Method to Treating Affairs and Trauma. I've also received training in narrative therapy with couples, from the Vancouver School of Narrative Therapy in British Columbia. Before becoming a therapist, I spent 25+ years helping people with their work relationships across many trades and professions.

I see clients both virtually and in-person; my office locations are in Tacoma, Washington and on Vashon Island. I offer both weekly and biweekly counseling for couples and individuals, as well as the option for in-person 'marathon counseling' weekends for couples (12-15 hours of counseling over the course of three days) on Vashon Island. A five-session premarital course is also available.

You can use all major credit and debit cards as well as HSA cards for payment. If you have insurance, I am considered an 'out-of-network' provider. I can provide a superbill for you to submit for possible reimbursement. Benefits are dependent on your insurance plan and deductible.
