About

I have been a therapist for over 23 years and have worked in the public and private sector. The past 18 years I have worked in the Tampa area with adults, teens and couples in a private setting. In couples work I use the scientific work of John and Julie Gottman along with ideas of psychotherapy, strengths model and an array of other appropriate theories and techniques. Couples therapy is designed to increase communication between the partners. Couples at every stage of relationship can strengthen their connection and find new ways to build each other up in a healthy and positive manner. Couples work is an exploration of the current relationship with the intent of making it even stronger and more satisfying for both partners.
People change and grow over time, so it makes sense that relationships will also change over time. It also makes sense to work on your relationship to ensure it grows in a healthy manner.
If you are ready to work on your relationship and create a deeper, more connected space between you and your partner you are ready for couples therapy.
