About

Finding and sustaining meaningful relationships is challenging. It is not uncommon to feel stuck, frustrated, and/or hopeless about the way things are. Whether you are in a relationship or seeking individual help to find a new direction, resolution, or to uncover difficult patterns, therapy can help you get to the heart of the matter and implement change.

I will help deepen your connection and teach you tools for reducing and repairing conflict and for making decisions together. Intense fighting, affairs, separations, gridlocked problems, deep hurts, parenting struggles, financial difficulties, and feeling disconnected are common referral issues.

My training through The Gottman Institute provides me with well researched, evidence-based methods to help you build a better and more fulfilling relationship with a solid foundation of friendship, trust, and shared dreams-- both your own dreams and that of your partners. We can create a fulfilling and healthy relationship for you through deeper understanding of yourself, your partner and your patterns. Being able to move from the therapist's office and onto your own couch using the tools you learn is paramount to my practice.

I am passionate about helping couples and bring over 20 years of clinical work to my practice. Let's work together to design your own custom-tailored treatment plan.

Special populations

Additionally, my practice includes individuals and couples facing difficult circumstances- for example, medical issues issues ( chronic or acute illness), depression, and anxiety. Navigating illness, whether chronic or acute can deeply effect oneself and their relationships. I have additional training and experience to address the impact of pain, loneliness, aging issues and illness on one's overall coping and connection to others.
