About

I believe that the greatest gift I can offer as a therapist is to hold a safe space for clients to explore any and all of their feelings, beliefs, and ideas without judgement. I am passionate about connecting with clients through an integrative and holistic approach that equally values their thoughts, emotions, spirituality, bodies, cultures, and diverse experiences. In addressing these various parts, I aspire to help them validate and explore their experiences as opportunities for growth and healing.

When working with partners, the Gottman method provides a structure for both individuals to witness and learn how to better understand each other's hurts and tenderness. Additionally, I believe there is power to witnessing one's partner from a lense of compassion and curiosity. Therefore, I also utilize interventions from EMDR, Internal Family Systems, Non-Violent Communication to help uncover the beliefs that keep trauma alive in the mind and body. The use of cognitive coping skills, breathwork, grounding techniques, rituals, and a consistent focus on grace empowers individuals to feel safe in their present while maintaining hope for their futures.

My prior experiences have allowed me to work with an array of people spanning from children to people in mid-life. My undergraduate degree in Visual Art allows me to integrate creative modalities while my experience working at religious institutions provides me with insight on a multitude of spiritual experiences.
