Hope. This is the first thing I try to give the couples in my practice. I look for the strengths in the relationship and we build from there. I help the couple build a feeling of unity, of being on the same team. I help them move away from the "blame and shame game" towards healthier patterns of validation and a deeper understanding of each other. I am sensitive to underlying traumas and unresolved issues that might require individual therapy. I also have learned that true change both internally and with a partner takes time. It is a unique & individual process 3qd. And we must respect this. I have completed a variety of training programs. This allows me to have greater flexibility and creativity during my sessions. I believe that my clients have many innate strengths. I see myself as facilitator towards positive change. The feeling in the room, when both members of the couple turn towards each other -when they feel understood and seen is such a wonderful thing to be a part of.
