About

You may be capable and successful, yet uncertain about how to repair your relationship. Trust may have been broken, the same conflicts may keep repeating, or years of hurt and disconnection may have left you wondering whether meaningful change is still possible.

I help couples slow down the patterns driving their conflict so they can better understand themselves and one another. My approach is compassionate, direct, and deeply relational. I integrate Gottman Method Couples Therapy with trauma-informed and somatic practices to address more than communication alone. Our work may include rebuilding trust, strengthening accountability, increasing emotional safety, understanding attachment patterns, and creating a more secure connection.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 20 years of experience supporting individuals, couples, and families through complex circumstances. My professional background includes extensive work with survivors of sexual abuse, nonprofit leadership, trauma-informed care, and somatic healing.

My work is also informed by lived experience. I understand the realities of codependency, relational struggle, divorce and remarriage, blended-family life, and healing from the effects of addiction. I have experienced the vulnerability and value of meaningful couples therapy. These experiences do not make every story the same, but they allow me to meet couples with humanity, humility, and respect for the complexity of healing.

I am the founder and clinical director of Rooted Therapies in North Port, Florida, where I provide in-person therapy for couples navigating betrayal, addiction, relationship distress, and significant life transitions.
