About
When your relationship has become a place of conflict, distance, or hurt, it can be hard to know how to find your way back to each other. You may love each other and still feel stuck in the same arguments, disconnected, or unsure whether trust and intimacy can be rebuilt. I help couples understand these patterns and create meaningful, lasting change.
I am a Certified Gottman Method Therapist with more than 30 years of experience helping couples and families build healthier relationships. I was one of the first therapists in Colorado to become Gottman certified and have continued to deepen my expertise through specialized Gottman training in Couples and Addiction Recovery, Partner Aggression and Abuse, and Treating Affairs and Trauma.
I am also an Art & Science of Love presenter and currently the only therapist in Colorado conducting these workshops. I am passionate about bringing the research and practical tools of the Gottman Method into both my therapy room and my work teaching couples.
My approach is warm, direct, practical, and compassionate. I believe couples need a therapist who can create safety for vulnerability while also being willing to respectfully challenge the patterns that keep them stuck. We will look honestly at the cycle you have fallen into, understand what is underneath it, and develop new ways of responding to one another.
I have particular experience helping couples navigate affairs and betrayal, addiction, trauma, intimacy concerns, anxiety, and significant relationship distress. Whether you are trying to reconnect after years of distance, recover from a betrayal, break destructive patterns, or strengthen an already good relationship, I will help you understand each other more deeply and build the relationship you want to have.
Therapy isn't about deciding who is right or wrong. It is about creating a relationship where both people feel heard, understood, and valued—and learning how to handle the inevitable challenges of life together.
