My passion is for seeing individuals and couples establish and restore healthy relationships, and helping people live their lives to the fullest.

I do that through a variety of approaches. I’m holistic, looking at all aspects of your life: mind, body and spirit. I’m trained in the Gottman Method for working with couples, an approach that is research driven and scientifically based for how to make relationships work. I also use Brainspotting for helping people resolve trauma and anxiety.

I view my work with clients as being very collaborative. I believe you bring a lot to the table already, and I want to walk with you through this process.

My clients appreciate that I offer a ton of support and make them feel safe in therapy, yet don’t shy away from giving direct feedback and ideas, or challenging a thought or belief that might be getting in the way of progress. I like to hear about your relationships, past and present, believing that they hold many keys to your breakthroughs. I’ll provide tools and strategies as needed, and perhaps a book recommendation.

As an avid world traveler, I enjoy working with clients from many different cultural and religious backgrounds. However, as a Christian myself, I specialize in counseling from a Christian perspective. I encourage and welcome my clients to discuss their beliefs in whatever way they are comfortable.
