I became a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California in 2002 and developed a love for working with couples very early in my career. I'm in a long-term married partnership myself and understand the joys and challenges of working towards two "Me"s becoming a "We." With over forty years of research-based-empirical data, the Gottman Method provides powerful support to any couple who wants to strengthen their partnership for the long haul. In therapy, I make use of both the Gottman theory of the Sound Relationship House and its interventions. My style in the therapy room is direct, honest, and compassionate. The emphasis of my work is dyadic or Partner-to-Partner where the couple primarily talks through and manages their conflict with my support and facilitation.
I have great passion, concern and respect for couples. I believe the duo of two is the foundation of our society and am committed to doing whatever part I can to help couples learn the tools and skills that ward off separation and potential divorce. My greatest wish is to support the creation of shared love, friendship and dreams with the couples I counsel not only for their partnership but also for any children who may be a part of this partnership.
