I have 25+years of experience.
My goal is to help couples develop mutual expression of empathy, understanding and validation.
I am honest and direct yet gentle in my approach. I love the gottman approach because it encourages interrupting negative patterns directly in the session allowing the couple to develop corrective experiences using healthy skills. My hope and goal is to help you both learn to manage conflict, form a deeper understanding and acceptance of one another, and to seek a deep emotional connection.
I have completed levels 1,2,and 3 training in Gottman method couples therapy. I am currently working on the GMT certification. I received my MSW with a focus on family systems therapy from Syracuse University in New York.
