I specialize in couples counseling and sex therapy, particularly when emotional and sexual concerns overlap. I work with couples who keep having the same fight, feel more like roommates than partners, struggle to talk about sex without it becoming another conflict, or know they don't want to keep doing this version of their relationship.

I'm Gottman Method Level 3 Trained and integrate the Developmental Model into my work. We pay attention to what happens between you and what each of you brings into the relationship, including attachment, family history, trauma, individual differences, and the challenges that show up over the course of a long-term relationship.

As an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist, I frequently help couples with desire differences, sexual disconnection, difficulty communicating about sex, arousal and orgasm concerns, sexual pain, and other intimacy concerns. Emotional and sexual connection influence each other, but I don't assume that fixing communication will magically fix your sex life. Sometimes the sexual relationship needs attention of its own.

I also have extensive experience with LDS/Mormon couples, mixed-faith marriages, faith transitions, and couples from religiously conservative backgrounds. I understand how religion can intersect with marriage, sexuality, family, and identity without assuming what you should believe or what your relationship should look like.

Therapy with me is active, practical, and sometimes pretty funny. I won't just nod while you have the same argument in my office that you had in the car. We'll understand what's happening between you and practice doing something different.

My practice is focused almost exclusively on couples. I offer in-person therapy in Centennial, Colorado, and online therapy throughout Colorado, Texas, Utah, Washington, and Idaho.
