About

I offer my clients over a decade of professional experience in individual, couples, and family therapy. Relationship work is my specialty. I help my clients to improve their relationships with themselves or other significant people in their lives. My own longtime marriage, two grown children, and many changes in my personal life make me especially understanding and empathetic to the struggles my clients experience.
My education in psychology and marriage/family therapy as well as training in evidence based approaches allow me to provide effective, time sensitive counseling and psychotherapy to individuals and families.
In our sessions we will: 1. Set achievable therapeutic goals and monitor your progress in future visits. 2. Identify and explore problematic thoughts or troublesome patterns of interaction that may cause difficulty in your everyday life. 3. Explore your strengths and use them as a base to build new skills that will help you to have a more fulfilling life.
