My journey through 20 years of professional experience, motherhood, career and relationship changes, paired with a decade coaching individuals through transition, loss and spiritual crisis have provided me with a deep understanding of the simple but hard task of balancing human “stuff” with our aspirations for freedom, serenity, meaning and purpose. Looking for clues about how to strike this balance I have turned to academia, writers, artists, elders and various wisdom traditions. Informed by experience and study, I believe that therapy is most effective when practical (simple) solutions are applied to the things that stand in the way of our aspirations. This is why the Gottman Method resonates so deeply with me. I have experience working with people from age 12 to 80, couples, families and individuals.
