It is to your credit that you are here looking for help in making that new start. Reaching out for support when your concerted efforts haven't got you what you want is a sign of both humility and strength. There may be seemingly intractable 'issues' in your relationship. Perhaps you are feeling emotionally disconnected, mired in conflict, or wondering what happened to the passion. My role is to be your guide on our shared journey to restored harmony. There will be lots of serious talk but also joviality: 'People rarely succeed unless they have fun in what they are doing.'

I started working therapeutically over 40 years ago, eventually finding my niche and passion in focusing exclusively on couples. I offer Gottman-based therapy, augmented by perspectives from various other relationship specialists.

I'll suggest skills and tools that will be game-changing, and you'll wonder, as do I, why we don't get taught these things in school or anywhere else. I'll also, if necessary, work with the part of you and/or your partner that might find it difficult to use the skills. That part is usually a much younger version of you. It learned a long time ago to protect you in certain ways that helped you then but limit you now. That 'inner child' may need to be unburdened - and understood, reassured and loved, to enable you to fully connect with your partner now.
