Day/evening and weekend marathon intensives
I am passionate about helping couples heal from affairs/betrayals, relationship loneliness, perpetual conflicts and a loss of friendship and romance. I also work with pre-marital couples trying to prevent problems, individuals in divorce recovery and singles wanting to improve their relationship skills.
Counseling can be done in my office or online. Two–four day “marathon” therapy is offered for couples desiring a more intensive approach, couples who have difficulty scheduling weekly appointments or for those who do not have a Gottman Therapist in their area (my office is in close proximity to Bush Intercontinental Airport). I offer The Art & Science of Love couples weekend workshop four times per year in the Houston area. My style is warm, sometimes humorous, often direct and always collaborative. My labradoodle, Fred, is a sweet, non-shedding co-therapist who sometimes joins me in sessions.
As a Master Trainer for The Gottman Institute I teach all levels of clinician training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy and am a consultant for clinicians seeking certification status. I have published articles on the Gottman Relationship Blog and Arianna Huffington’s Thrive Global. I am on the Speaker's Bureau for The Gottman Institute and available to do speaking engagements or provide interviews on a wide variety of relationship topics.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Gottman Therapist and Master Trainer and Consultant for The Gottman Institute. Additionally, I have completed an externship in Emotionally Focused Therapy. I am co-owner of Couples Counseling and Psychotherapy Associates in Kingwood TX (northeast Houston).
