Mary has worked with individuals, couples and whole families and because of the diversity of experiences and training she is able to navigate difficult issues with a variety of models and interventions.
She is a Nationally Certified Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapist (TF-CBT)-designed for children, adolescents and teens whom have experienced a significantly traumatic event. She has completed Training in Eye movement desensitization reprocessing (EMDR) an effective and efficient method of treating traumatic memories, provided by the Trauma Institute.
Additionally, she has significant training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to treat, depression, suicidality etc. All in which were provided through The Beck Institute.
Mary specializes in helping couples learn to communicate, rebuild friendship and passion in their relationship, and repair from an affair or other attachment issues.
As a Level 3 Gottman Clinician, her clients can expect a thorough assessment process, treatment planning, and exercises that help her clients and their partner explore their relationship and needs at a deeper level.
