There is so much impact of the cultural and societal beliefs about sexual relationships, good sex, romantic relationships, marriage, and love. Most of those beliefs for decades were overlooked and unexamined for their validity in helping couples stay in relationships. Lack of proper sex education is one of many other factors that lead to relationship demise, distress, affairs, and or divorce. My challenges as a wife and as a mother have led me to shift from being a physician to becoming a marriage and family specialist. Since 2014 I have been in Relationship programs and schools equipping me to be of better help to clients (individuals or couples) to make their relationships work. I am skilled in using assessment and intervention tools that are based on science and are been tested for their effectiveness, psychologically studied, and validated. These tools help couples resolve past regrettable incidents improve their day-to-day communications, and have a better vision for their relationship. Coming from the Middle East adds to my repertoire while assisting clients from similar cultures. Observing equality where sexual diversity as LGBTQ exists yet is being overlooked or stigmatized, is of utmost importance in my practice. I design programs tailored to suit each case according to the client’s needs, hopes, and aspirations. Psychosexual problems that are Non-medical of origin like premature ejaculation, low sexual desire, painful intercourse, vaginismus in women, and difficulty maintaining an erection in men are some of the areas I, as a psychosexual therapist, can assist you with. Treating affairs along with helping clients recover from painful divorce are areas of my expertise.
