Welcome! Life is experienced in relationship. Experiencing interpersonal and relational conflict is a shared human experience and it occurs at all stages of life. It is not an indicator that we are weak and unworthy, but a reminder that we are human.
I help couples in all different stages of relationship to navigate the current climate of the relationship. Recognizing the unique qualities each individual brings to the relationship dynamic, we collaborate to set realistic goals, I provide honest feedback about what it will take to get there and help guide you down the path towards your vision for the future. Using proven techniques based on Dr. John Gottman’s 40 years of research on what actually works to help couples achieve healthy, long-lasting relationships, I help couples learn skills to reconnect, better communication with more productive conversations and manage conflict better.
As a previous employee of The Gottman Institute, I received advanced clinical training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy and Educator for both the Gottman Bringing Baby Home and 7 Principles for Making Marriage Work programs. I use the Gottman Relationship Check-Up assessment to obtain a comprehensive picture of the relationship, highlighting strengths and identfying challenges and areas for growth. I provide personalized feedback, specific to your unique relationship and together we develop targeted goals for therapy. Many of my couples have noted that the assessment process alone provided invaluable information about their relationship and in a state of overwhelm and uncertainty, it was a clear first step forward.
Freedom is experienced when we utilize our personal power to make different choices and effect change. If things in your life are no longer working for you, I will help guide you in taking those first steps
