About

Welcome!

I received my Bachelors of Arts degree in sociology from Saint Bonaventure University in 2011. I then completed my masters degree in Mental Health Counseling from Saint John Fisher College in 2013. I have been a Licensed Mental Health Counselor since 2018 and have worked in a variety of settings including private practice, inpatient mental health and residential treatment facilities. I am licensed in Florida, Idaho and South Carolina and can see anyone who is physically located in any of these states during each of our sessions. In my free time I like to spend time with my animals (3 cats and 1 dog), ride roller coasters, roller skate, and spend time with cherished friends and family.

I’m not a conventional therapist! Clients have told me they appreciate my authenticity and relatability, and I often use humor and pop culture references when appropriate as I feel this helps diffuse difficult topics and often enhances the therapeutic relationship. I tailor my work with clients to each client's specific needs and personality style.

I am a believer in human rights and welcome all genders, races, religions and lifestyles to my practice. I look forward to meeting you!

I am certified in DBT, but incorporate other therapy methods into my practice as appropriate/indicated, Gottman Levels 1-3, and also in EMDR.
