My approach to therapy is influenced by my PhD training as a research scientist. Specifically, I seek to use methods that have a solid research basis for effectiveness. The Gottman Method is unrivaled in that regard. Coupled with 30+ years of experience in clinical work I offer clients effective treatment delivered with skill and empathy. I continue to do this work because helping couples to maintain fulfilling and satisfying relationships is meaningful and gratifying. There are relationship challenges throughout the lifespan and I find that with the wisdom of experience I am able to offer help to a variety of client couples ranging from their 20's thru their 80's. I am grateful for the confidence placed in my services by my clients and the colleagues who refer to me.
