About

Dr. Waldron (Michele) would like to help you meet your goals and to feel like your behaviors and emotions don’t manage you. Her hope is to help you feel more connected to yourself and the important people in your life, including your partner(s). She takes a collaborative and education-focused approach to assist you with meeting your goals and feeling a more authentic sense of self. She is LGBTQA+ informed and an ally. She seeks to advocate for sexual health and empowerment. She utilizes Gottman strategies, mindfulness, CBT, and DBT approaches with her clients. Her approach is trauma-informed and works with clients’ strengths.

Michele has a doctorate degree (Psy.D) in Clinical Psychology from Antioch New England University. She is an AASECT certified sex therapist. She is a licensed psychologist (NH, MA). She is pursuing Gottman Method Couples Therapy training (Level 1 & 2 completed). She completed the Perinatal Mental Health trainings through Postpartum Support International. Her experience has been supporting people with problem sexual behaviors and addictions for over a decade. This has influenced her trauma informed lens when she works with individuals and couples.
The perinatal and post partum periods are a common time for relationships to struggle. It is a large transition to adjust to being a family AND a couple. Many individual challenges can also come up post partum impacting the relationship dynamic.

Dr. Waldron conducts intensive or marathon therapy in 3-6 hour increments to help couples make progress quickly. While these sessions are not covered by insurance, they allow couples to get a lot of work done in a short period of time building momentum as well as getting to a deeper level that isn't possible in an hour. These sessions are also helpful in stabilizing a time of crisis. Ongoing one-hour sessions covered by insurance is also an option, though there is a waitlist at this time.
