About

Hi, I’m Michelle and I’m so glad you’re here. I'm right here with you—I’ve been on the other side of the couples therapy couch and know how vulnerable it can feel.

I specialise in couples work. My style is interactive and direct. I won’t just sit back and watch you argue the same old way—you can do that for free at home. You’ll talk to me, sure, but my priority is helping you have better conversations with your partner. Every session comes with a purpose—I want you to walk away with something new to practice. And yes, I’m pretty straightforward. You’re here because something needs to shift, and I’m here to help make that happen. I’ll tell you what I see, but always with kindness and respect. My goal is to give you the skills to thrive as a couple—so well that you either no longer need me or just check in for the occasional tune-up.

I have a deep belief in the Gottman Method and its ability to create lasting change in relationships. I see a couple as more than just two individuals—the quality of their relationship ripples outward, affecting their friends, families, and broader community. I’m especially drawn to understanding the unique world that exists behind closed doors, beyond the surface of what others see. This passion has led me to pursue certification in the Gottman Method, solidifying my role as a relationship specialist. Unlike general therapists, I don’t work with individuals, teens, children, or families—my sole focus is helping couples strengthen and rebuild their relationships.

Outside of work, I am grateful for the opportunities to learn, grow and share laughter with my husband; to sip coffee while our dogs peacefully snore; and to receive reels or memes that playfully capture our human experience.

I value ongoing learning, professional supervision and attending my own therapy sessions so I can reflect, debrief and be as present as possible for my clients and family.
