About
Miriam works with individuals, couples and families in several capacities including depression and anxiety, eating disorders, marriage issues, infidelity, forgiveness, divorce, blended families, domestic violence issues and crisis pregnancy. She is also certified as a Prepare-Enrich facilitator and enjoys doing pre-marital counseling with this assessment tool. In addition to Biblical wisdom, Miriam draws from several theoretical orientations including Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Family Systems, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused counseling theories. As a Certified Gottman Therapist, she is passionate about the Gottman Method and believes that it is the most beneficial tool for rooting out negative patterns in relationship and implementing healthy ones.
