Along with my academic and training credentials, I bring my own life experience to aid in working with couples and their challenges. I approach each couple hopeful, and believe most couples have untapped resiliency, strength, and potential within. Most times, they just lost focus along the way as life gets messy.

I use an Integrative, trauma informed approach. I view each client & every couple as unique, and I customize my therapeutic approach based on their specific challenges and needs. There is always an abundance of acceptance, empathy, and kindness for my clients. I believe in humour as well as tears in my therapeutic relationships.

Communication skill building & guiding couples through intimate, difficult discussions is a large area of focus. I also work with compulsive sexual behaviour disorder and intimate betrayal trauma. I am a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist, Certified Partner Trauma Therapist and a Certified Multiple Addiction Therapist (CSAT, CPTT, CMAT). I received my training from Patrick Carnes & the renowned International Institute of Addiction and Trauma Professionals (IITAP) in Carefree, AZ.

I have extensively travelled North America, immersing myself in the neighbourhoods & cultures of the places I have visited. In my personal time, I love to entertain and feed my family & friends. I enjoy reading, bike riding, yoga, backyard fire pits, and going for walks with my husband and my dog Seamus.

I see clients in-person from Calgary and area, in addition to virtual sessions with folks from greater Alberta, NWT and Nunavut.
