Hello, I'm Nate Ellis. As the only Certified Gottman Therapist in the Dayton region and one of two therapists in the area with sex addiction therapy training, I am uniquely positioned and qualified to assist couples in several ways. If you are desiring to heal and rebuild trust after infidelity and resulting betrayal trauma, and/or seeking recovery from sex or porn addiction, I would love to offer you compassionate and comprehensive guidance and expertise. The two primary modalities that I utilize, Gottman Method Couples Therapy and Dr. Patrick Carnes’ task model for sex addiction therapy, are evidence-based and have proven very successful.

You and your partner may also be interested in learning and applying effective skills for improving your relationship for the long term. I offer a personalized and collaborative approach, which allows partners to develop their friendship, better manage conflict, and create a new meaning and mission for their relationship.

It would be my pleasure to work with you! Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions you may have, and I would love to offer you a free phone or video consultation to see if I would be a good fit for your counseling goals. Please note that fees ($120-170 per 50-minute session) are self-pay and you will need to contact your insurance company directly if you would like to use out-of-network benefits. 90-minute sessions are strongly encouraged. Thank you!
