About

My ideal clients are individuals and couples who are committed to becoming more self-aware, and more comfortable in their own skin, interested in working toward their goals, whatever they may be. As a psychologist who also does executive coaching, I work with clients and organizations to develop employees' potential for career adjustment and advancement within their organizations. I am also deeply committed to helping professionals continue to grow in their own work as practitioners.

As a counseling psychologist, I think about individuals having current issues rather than being ill. I see clients as deeply embedded in the contexts and environments in which they work, live, and love. Diagnosis is less important than helping people develop coping strategies individually and within their families and organizations.

In addition to doing individual and couples psychotherapy (I have completed level 2 training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy),I am certified in administering a number of individual organizational assessments. I have been involved in teaching and supervising graduate students in counseling and organizational psychology and executive coaching for many years and provide that service in my independent practiceas welI. As a tricare provider, I am deeply committed to working with active duty soldiers, veterans, and their spouses.
