About

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Level 3 trained in Gottman Couples Therapy, and also a practicing family law attorney with more than 15 years of legal experience.

I work primarily with individuals, couples, and families that are dealing with high-conflict relationships and high-stress situations that are often exacerbated by some involvement in the legal system. I see couples for pre-marital counseling and married couples that are separated, contemplating divorce, in the middle of divorce proceedings, or in post-divorce disputes concerning child custody or support. My clients are often dealing with contentious issues including allegations or incidents of abuse and domestic violence, allegations or issues of drug and alcohol abuse, incidents of restraining orders, parental incarceration, loss of parental rights, judicial oversight, and family reunification.

I am also certified in discernment counseling (where one spouse is considering divorce) and can provided separate services for divorce mediation and filing of uncontested divorces.
