I have enjoyed a happy marriage for over 40 years and love to help others have what I have. After working as a middle school counselor for many years, I decided to devote myself solely to marital therapy. So many children were angry or crying in my office due to parents fighting, going through nasty divorces and post divorce issues. I decided the best way to help children was to help their parents have better marriages and families.

I was first introduced to Gottman Method Therapy in graduate school in 2003. His book, “The Marriage Clinic: A Scientifically Based Marital Therapy” was the principal textbook for one of my classes. Later, I participated in the training, “Working with Complex Couples: A Gottman Approach for Treating PTSD, Abuse and Infidelity”. I decided to do a deeper dive, and by the end of 2019, I completed Gottman Level 3 Training.

I have extensive experience helping clients navigate, heal from and move forward from the devastating effects of an affair. I love helping couples to strengthen their communication and emotional and physical connection. One of my greatest joys is seeing relationship stress lower and satisfaction increase as we build the type of marriage they both long to have.
