I practice as a psychologist and family therapist while leveraging on my former trainings as a scientist and social worker. My training spans the fields of Biological Sciences, Sociology, Psychology and Education. These trainings have moulded a scientific orientation to how I do the art of talk therapy. Today, relationships are the hardest thing to do well due to many societal factors. I aim to assist individuals and couples to identify barriers to healthy, mutually nurturing relationships and to develop alternative patterns of interaction.

In my practice, I work with young adults, adults, couples and families. I have a special interest in helping people develop their awareness of emotions in living a good life. Daniel Goleman’s sage words nicely sum up my practice wisdom. He says “if your emotional abilities aren't in hand, if you don't have self-awareness, if you are not able to manage your distressing emotions, if you can't have empathy and have effective relationships, then no matter how smart you are, you are not going to get very far.”
