About

My approach to therapy focuses on helping individuals and couples build more secure relationships. When relationships feel supportive and connected, they can be a powerful source of joy, resilience, and meaning. When couples experience ongoing conflict, miscommunication, or emotional distance, however, it can create significant stress and disconnection.

I aim to provide a warm, non-judgmental space where clients feel safe exploring these challenges and developing healthier ways of relating to one another.

I work with you to navigate concerns such as communication difficulties, conflict escalation, loss of intimacy, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. In therapy, we explore the patterns that shape our relationships- how we respond to stress, express our needs, and repair disconnection. Increasing awareness of these patterns helps you to develop new ways of communicating, strengthening emotional safety, and rebuilding trust.

I use research-based approaches including Gottman Method Couples Therapy (Levels 1 and 2), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and CBT. These approaches help couples strengthen their friendship, improve communication, manage conflict more constructively, and deepen emotional understanding of one another, while helping individuals gain greater clarity and balance in their inner lives.

I am currently completing a Master of Divinity in Clinical Counselling at Tyndale University, where my training integrates psychological and spiritual perspectives on well-being. When desired, I am happy to incorporate Christian faith and values into the counselling process.

Before entering the counselling field, I worked in a multinational consulting firm and earned my Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation. This experience gives me insight into the pressures many professionals face and informs my compassionate, holistic approach to supporting both relational and personal well-being.
