I finished my B.A. in psychology and philosophy and graduated in clinical psychology at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem; I became an expert in clinical and developmental psychology. I was also a pioneer in developmental psychology in Israel and later became the chairwoman of the new developmental section of the Israeli Psychological Association (הפ"י). In those y\ears I also learned couple and family therapy with Katrit and Shmuel Ron, close friends and disciples of Virginia Satir and pioneers in couple and family therapy in Israel. By 1997 I founded the Family Life Preparation Center which dealt with premarital, beginning of the family, new parents, normal as well as challenging development of babies and toddlers where I directed a multi-disciplinary team.
During all those years I also learned and included in my therapeutic world aspects of general health, nutrition, sex therapy and coaching.
My orientation in therapy is integrative. It includes a good evaluation first, evidence based theory and practice as well as personalization and tailor-made intervention; actualization and learning everything from the best in the world and collaborating with them.
Today I am a supervisor in CBT, accredited by the Israeli as well as the European Association and have supervisees from 3 different CBT schools as well as from a pioneer study of the Israeli Ministry of Health together with the Hebrew University.
I have also the accreditation from IEDTA (International Experiential Dynamic Therapy Association). I am also a member of the Israeli Organization for Collaborative Divorce (גשת"פ)
The emphasis is always on results: giving the client the most promising therapy , focused and as short as possible with best long term results.
This is how I chose the Gottman approach in what concerns to couples.
