As a Licensed Professional Counselor, my desire is to help you learn how to address dysfunctional relationships, unwanted feelings, undesired behaviors, communication issues, depression, anxiety, mood changes, or anger issues. I have worked with individuals who experienced dysfunction in their marriage, in relationships and within the family. My work with you will focus on helping you discover effective coping skills that will permit you to achieve the peace, strength, and comfort that you desire in your life. I believe that as I support you through gaining awareness of external influences, examination of past behaviors and thought processes, and the development or enhancement of coping skills, you will achieve the changes you desire.

As a trained Gottman Leader of The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work, I desire to help couples (pre-engaged/seriously dating, engaged or married) improve their friendship and conflict management skills. These psychoeducational workshops are conducted in-person in the state of Texas.

Maya Angelou’s quote is very relevant: “You may not control all the events that happen to you, but you can decide not to be reduced by them." Thus, life’s experiences may feel like a butterfly’s cocoon—press through for there is hope.
