About
Dr. Scarlett Mattoli is 20+ year-veteran mental health practitioner who is passionate about ensuring everyone has access to the care they may need. Through working with various populations in the UK, US, Europe, and Asia, she has acquired a humbling wealth of experience and knowledge about the lived needs of others from all walks of life and cultures. She is dedicated to honouring each individual's needs as they can express them and sensitively assisting couples and family systems in hearing and responding to the needs of each other. Dr. Scarlett is a clinical psychologist in private practice supporting couples, families and individuals by providing the safe, professional, and impartial space that everyone has the right to expect. She works with a wide range of presenting couples and family challenges, as well as individuals throughout the lifespan, from assessment to diagnosis to treatment and beyond. One of Dr. Scarlett's primary focuses is to assist each and every client and patient to achieve their desired goal(s). Her extensive credentialing and research in neuropsychology, clinical psychology, counselling, multiple psychotherapeutic approaches, assessment and psychometrics, coaching psychology, supervision, addictions, parenting, family therapy, play and sand tray therapy, and neurodiversity and neurodevelopment, have afforded her both a broad and in-depth knowledge of couples and family systems from multiple vantage points. These additional vantage points of perspective on any given presentation enhance her ability to guide her patients though the therapeutic process with empathy, care, and professionalism. She has earned multiple professional memberships and accreditations in addition to her multiple main degrees and upholds her memberships through continuous professional development and learning, ongoing supervision, and maintaining a position in research, publishing, teaching, and engaging with public speaking invitations.
