About

Relationships can be deeply rewarding, but even strong couples can find themselves stuck in recurring arguments, feeling unheard, or drifting apart. I help couples improve communication, navigate conflict, rebuild trust, and strengthen emotional connection. Whether you are facing a major life transition, struggling with differences in needs or expectations, or simply wanting to feel closer again, therapy can offer a place to understand each other more fully.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. I strive to create an environment where both partners feel respected and have space to share their experiences. Rather than assigning blame, we explore the patterns that keep you stuck and develop new ways of responding to one another. I help couples build skills for discussing difficult topics, repairing after disagreements, and nurturing friendship, affection, and shared meaning.

I have completed Levels 1, 2, and 3 training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy. I draw on Gottman research and interventions, alongside a person-centered approach, to tailor our work to your relationship. Our sessions may include structured assessments, guided conversations, and exercises to practice between appointments. My goal is not to decide who is right, but to help you better understand one another and make meaningful changes together.

Reaching out for couples counseling can feel vulnerable, especially if previous attempts to resolve concerns have left you both frustrated. I welcome couples at different stages of their relationships who are willing to explore what is working, what is painful, and what they hope to change.

I offer in-person sessions in Seattle on Fridays and Saturdays and telehealth appointments Tuesday through Saturday for clients in states where I am authorized to practice. I also offer a complimentary 20-minute consultation so we can discuss your goals, answer questions, and see whether working together feels like a good fit.
