About

“There will come a time when you think everything is finished. That will be the beginning.” (Louis L’Amour)

You may have come to a point in your relationship where it feels like there are insurmountable obstacles standing between you and your partner. You’re struggling with communication and connection. Every small conflict turns into a large argument or ends with one of you walking away and nothing getting resolved. You used to feel like you were friends on the same team but somehow, the daily stressors of jobs, kids and life have gotten in the way and you’re not sure how to turn things around. Maybe you have discovered that your partner has been unfaithful. You’re hurt, your trust has been demolished and you are not sure if the relationship can be repaired. You feel stuck and don’t know what to do next.

I am experienced in working with couples who are struggling with these types of issues. When you begin couples therapy, I take the time to assess your current relationship challenges as well as your past relationship and individual histories in order to determine the best way to tackle the difficulties between you. Once the goals of therapy are identified, my focus is on maintaining a safe emotional space for both partners while we work through interventions to improve your communication, conflict management and friendship while rebuilding trust and connection. My goal is to help both of you develop the skills you need in order to develop deeper insight into each other and be able to move forward.
