I am a Certified Teacher of the Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work. I offer couples' intensives, virtual and in-person workshops.

I bring to the table a warm, engaging, and inquisitive style, direct and filled with tools and resources to guide our work together. I have had the privilege of helping hundreds of individuals, couples, families, and companies work through incredible challenges toward a positive outcome with greater resilience through relationship counseling.
Relationship Counseling:
Licensed in 1987 in CA and 1993 in CO, I have worked in private practice, clinics, school-based programs, and non-profit organizations.
I created CEO Couples, focusing on couples in business together. Couples can include friend couples, married couples, or family members in business.
Organizational Experience:
In addition, I created Sharla Macy Consulting to address the relational needs of teams and leadership development.
I have 21 years working with an array of companies and organizations.

Education:
I hold a Master’s Degree in Counseling from St. Mary’s University. In addition, I have a second Masters in Education and a Bachelors Degree in Music from Austin College.

Personal Background:
On a personal note, I have 38 years of marriage with two successfully launched grown adults now with their own families, I love quality time with family and friends, our pup Ranger, hiking, music, and travel. I am a connector and bring creativity and appreciation of excellence and beauty both for my clients and the greater world. I will be honored to assist you through the change you are seeking.
