About

It can feel easy to fall in love. But staying in a meaningful committed relationship requires emotional skills most of us were never taught.

Relational intelligence is a skill that can be taught and acquired. It takes intention and attention to improve relationships. Often the conflict you're experiencing, difficulty communicating or trouble connecting with your partner can provide the opening to rethink your dynamic and deepen your understanding of why you feel stuck and how you might be perpetuating the problem. It can be especially hard for people who grew up in families where healthy relationships either never existed or were in short supply.

When you get caught in the frustration of perpetual problems and gridlock, it can be profoundly helpful to bring in a guide that can offer you a new perspective; someone who can illuminate the unconscious patterns at play—and set a clear road map forward.

I am a mindfulness based therapist with advanced level training in both the Gottman Method, Emotionally Focused Therapy techniques and Meditation for emotional self regulation. My mission is to give you mindfulness based, practical tools and tangible insights for repairing and re-building resilient relationships.

I also specialize in adult children of bi-polar and borderline personality disorders, schizophrenia, narcissism and adult children who have suffered with complex trauma that resurfaces in their intimate relationships.
