I believe couples therapy should be a place where you don’t just talk about your relationship—you learn how to do your relationship differently.

My approach is warm, collaborative, practical, and often creative. I use the Gottman Method as a foundation while tailoring interventions to the couple in front of me. Sometimes that means slowing down a difficult conversation, practicing a new way of communicating in real time, or finding a creative way to help a concept finally click.

A big part of my work is helping couples practice the conversations they struggle to have at home. We work together on communicating needs, listening to understand rather than respond, finding compromises that honor both partners, and approaching differences with empathy and genuine curiosity.

I want couples to leave therapy with more than insight. My goal is for you to develop the skills and confidence to navigate difficult conversations without needing a therapist in the room—to be able to turn toward one another, stay curious about each other’s experiences, and work through challenges as a team.

I offer therapy in both English and Spanish and welcome couples from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and stages of their relationships.
