I am retired military with 23 years active duty service. I provide counseling with different branches of the military & families from Gowen Field and Mountain Home AFB, where I understand the diverse stressors involved. I have 5 children & 4 grandchildren. I personally understand family difficulties due to the military environment, my son-in-law is still active duty Navy.
I understand typical family stressors where daily life worries can make things complicated. It can be overwhelming with additional sources of difficulties that may involve chronic pain, PTSD, trauma, addictions, etc. Blended families with children involved have unique stressors. Children and extended families of different ages and backgrounds present unique types of challenges & opportunities. I am available to assist you.
My unique approach comes from being dual licensed as both a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I blend your individual goals with proven researched approaches, designed to meet your desired results.
I specialize in addictions, grief, trauma and crisis, depression and anxiety, relationship issues, anger and resentment, and how these internal areas interfere with relationships. I am EMDR & Theophostics trained.
