At Couples Counseling ATL, we exclusively specialize in the Gottman Method, and we are passionate about helping couples create real connection and lasting happiness. We have two Atlanta locations and a team of several experienced clinicians (all of whom are at least level 3 Gottman trained).
Stephanie is a certified Gottman therapist (CGT) as well as a certified Gottman Educator. She regularly teaches the Gottman "Seven Principles" workshop for couples. Stephanie completed her B.A. in Psychology at Vanderbilt University, her M.S.W. in Clinical Social Work from the University of Georgia, and a Post-Masters Clinical Fellowship at Emory University. Stephanie is charismatic and energetic, with a passion for helping people. She uses a lot of humor and a quick-witted teaching style. She has been with her beloved husband for over 15 years and they have a two sons. She is honored to offer workshops and talks to strengthen relationships in her community. I am here to create a comfortable space and genuine connection with you and your partner. I will assess your strengths as a couple and what areas could use improvement. Together we will co-create a clear path and therapeutic goals toward resolution.
Through research-based interventions and exercises, I will help you break through barriers to achieve greater understanding, connection and intimacy. You will learn the skills necessary for a lasting and loving relationship. You will learn to respectfully communicate with your partner and effectively handle conflict.
