Dr. Steele of ThriveNow has over twenty years in the SF Bay Area of working with couples to help individuals and couples courageously transform life’s obstacles into extraordinary opportunities for personal, relational and vocational growth.

Dr. Steele’s specializations include: strengthening marriages by utilizing The Gottman Method of relational therapy that combines the wisdom of 40 years of clinical science and practice in your relationships. Also individuals or couples specialization includes: trauma resolution, anxiety/depression, loss/grief, co-dependency and attachments, cross-cultural challenges, stress management, spiritual direction, executive coaching, and life/career transitions.
Dr. Steele's credentials include a doctorate from Princeton Theological Seminary, NJ,, Industrial and Organizational Psychology concentration with a dissertational emphasis on the psycho-socio attachment dynamics of people, place, and transitions. M.Div. from Fuller Theological Seminary with applied family, organizational systems, and theological integration. A former medical team member as a hospital clinical counseling practitioner (C.P.E. certified) and counselor for individuals, and families who are facing trauma, depression and life changes; certified Hospice Counselor, certified Prepare and Enrich Couple’s Facilitator, a trained Executive Coach, a Relational Life Therapy Trainee and a Gottman Level 2 Therapist for couples.
